Anti-Bullying (Brouchers & Posters)

Design:

I chose a spesific design of brouchers for anti- bullying over the other because we wanted to stick to a kids theme because they are designed spesifically for them. They would want to go through the brouchers for advice if they go through bullying problems , so i thought one of the designs was more suitable.

Anti- bullying Investigation

Sometimes "bully" means a whole group of kids, ganging up on
someone else. No matter what situation or form it comes in, bullying can make you feel depressed, hurt, and alone. It can keep you from enjoying the activities and places that are part of your life. Bullying mostly happens at school. Bullies come in all different shapes and sizes. For some people, it's that girl at school who always makes fun of them. For others, it's the biggest guy in the neighborhood who's always trying to beat them up or take their things.  Bullying involves things like:  Hitting, kicking, or pushing someone or even just threatening to do it. Bullying also includes stealing, hiding peoples things. Fortunatley we can prevent bullying by taking actions for bullying or even witnessing bullying.

Climate change.

1. It's theme is Modern Frame. It has pictures of climate change. 

2. I have researched all about climate change. For about three days in class i have been gathering information on climate change and written in my iweb and google document about it. 

3. I added some pictures related to my topic and tried downloading some videos from youtube based on the topic. The fonts are in black. No colored pages.

4. Yes, it has exactly five pages.

5. Its features are good. Everything works fine, however i had a hard time downloading videos from youtube on my iweb

6. A widget is a gadget that helps you paste live web content into your iWeb site, such as Internet videos, news headlines, stock quotes, photo streams, and much more.

If you are familiar with HTML, you can also manually add HTML to your site. 

7. Yes, I have an emergency plan. If you see that the weather is hot or cold outside you can prepare yourself (e.g: If it looks like it's going to rain outside, you can get an umbrella and wear a jacket just in case)

Task

Which communication forms are synchronous? texting,instant messaging phone calls, skype, text chat, face-to-face talk and facebook.

Which ones are asynchronous? e-mail,  electronic mailing lists, e-mail based conferencing programs, UseNet newsgroups, messaging programs.

What type of information would be conveyed by each form? They select and analyze information and ideas, and comment on how these are conveyed in different texts.

What is needed in hardware and software for each?  Hardwares: Cellphones, computers, etc.

Softwares: Facebook, Flickr, Blogger, Piczo, etc.
